"Private number" intermittently when a specific person calls me
 

Hi everyone I've got a specific caller that shows up as "private number" intermittently (more often than not lately). When he calls my landline, it's fine. Checked settings on his phone, his 'block caller id' is on default (which isn't blocking). Not sure if it happens with other people...
