2 passengers fined $1,000 each after refusing to wear masks on Calgary WestJet flights
 

Two people have been fined for refusing to wear a mask on WestJet flights in June and July. One was on a flight from Calgary to Waterloo, Ont. The other was on a flight from Vancouver to Calgary. Transport Canada says the fines mark the first time passengers have received a financial penalty for refusing to don a mask.
