Trudeau pledges billions in permanent funding for public transit
 

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced plans Wednesday to spend almost $15 billion over the next eight years on public transportation projects across the country. He says funding could go to subway extensions, electrifying transit fleets, walkways, cycle paths and*rural mobility needs.
