wifi hub with fibre and coax/MoCA all good -- but LAN ports aren't working
 

I have a Wifi hub with fiber connection.

The hub is connected with coax to a MoCA in another room, which is hooked into a switch and all my devices. Everything works as expected.

I just plugged in a device into one of the ethernet LAN ports on the hub and can't see it on the network (it's visible if I hook it downstream from the MocA). Connection lights on device and hub LAN port are as expected.

Is there any reason why the LAN ports might be disabled if the hub is running coax to a MoCA?
