Up to 70 vehicles pile up on Trans-Canada Highway as winter weather rips through Alberta
 

The westbound lane of a stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway between Medicine Hat and Calgary has been shut down by a pileup of as many as 70 vehicles, while semi-trailers have overturned to block other roadways*as wind and snow rip across a large swath of*the southern and eastern Alberta.
