Albertan gives away 17 hand-built exact replicas of Prairie grain elevators
 

Modelled after elevators that existed in Saskatchewan and Alberta between the 1800s and the 1950s, the replicas are crafted to scale — usually at an inch to the foot — and each took about 150 to 200 hours of labour.
