Wheat kinks: A bleak harvest has farmer swathing out the season in hopes of a better next year
Harvest time is usually a high point on Albertan farms. Not so this year. The prairies were pummeled by one natural curveball after another. Record heat and scarce rain baked crops on Jason Schnieder's fields, making them barely good enough for cattle feed.
