Gravesite for Siksika Chief, Treaty 7 signatory found and honoured
 

Siksika Nation officially marked the resting place of Chief Old Sun. The gravesite for the prominent chief of the North Blackfoot was lost over time since his death in 1897. The nation recently rediscovered it and marked it with a ceremony on the 144th anniversary of the Treaty 7 signing.
