Ezzrett 'Sugarfoot' Anderson was friends with Jackie Robinson and Kenny Washington, He was also married to Virnetta Anderson, Calgary's first Black city councillor. But in his own right, Sugarfoot was a one-of-a kind personality, who used kindness to bridge cultural communities and leave his own stamp on this city.
