How to interpret this Telus statement?

  • Unlimited data on a 2 year term, then $20/month.
Otherwise, a 2 TB data limit applies."
Possibly better written ?:
  • Unlimited Data on a two year Contract.
  • Monthly plans have a 2TB limit, there after an extra $20 flat fee per month is incurred.
Means: If you sign up for a 2 year contract, data is is literally unlimited for two years and no extra cost incurred, ie there is no such thing as a data overage? If you don't sign up for a contract, ie month to month, you are limited to 2 TB per month, then an overage of any amount is automatically charged at a flat fee of $20 for the remainder of said month? so on and so forth per month?

I could interpret "Unlimited data on a 2 year term, then $20/month" as: Unlimited data on a two year contract, then, once the contract runs out, they'll start charging you $20/month + the month to month plan fee? But the second sentence seems odd. "Otherwise, a 2 TB data limit applies."? Does this mean 2TB/month limit for the month to month plans then they cut you off?
