Alberta's new secretary for 'civil liberties' broke federal, provincial COVID-19 travel restrictions in 2020
 

Alberta MLA Tracy Allard, who was appointed parliamentary secretary for civil liberties on Dec. 13, will report to the minister of justice. United Conservative Premier Danielle Smith spoke about the appointment on her weekly Corus radio talk show on Saturday.
