Stranded mid-journey by WestJet in Toronto, this Newfoundlander is driving home for Christmas
 

In a statement to CBC News, WestJet says it has cancelled hundreds of flights this week due to severe winter weather in western Canada. The company says it's working on re-booking travellers, but that it is extremely limited in what flights are available.
