Man and woman charged with 1st-degree murder in shooting of OPP officer near Brantford, Ont.
 

A 25-year-old man and 30-year-old woman have been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of an Ontario Provincial Police officer near Brantford on Tuesday. Const. Grzegorz Pierzchala, 28, learned he had just passed probation earlier that day.
