My recommendation: spend a weekend in Beddington before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

This is so helpful! Just discovered Dandy Brewing in Currie Barracks and wow. Why didn't anyone tell me about this place sooner? The Chinese is authentic and absolutely delicious.
