My recommendation: spend a weekend in Auburn Bay before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

We're in Royal Oak and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect. Hope that helps!
