We're in Springbank Hill and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect.

I looked at both Ogden and Auburn Bay before settling on Lynnwood. The school district was the deciding factor for us. No regrets at all.

With kids, the live music scene in Calgary is alive and well. Broken City, Palomino, and the King Eddy all have great acts regularly. Support local musicians!

Dude, my EV handles Calgary winters surprisingly well. The range drops about 30% in -20 but I charge at home overnight so it's not an issue for my daily commute. Zero regrets.

If you're looking for a gym that's not packed 24/7, try some of the smaller independent places outside of the core. The prices are often better and the equipment is just as good.

Alberta Health Services wait times can be long but the quality of care in Calgary hospitals is actually really good. I've had great experiences at Foothills and South Health Campus.
