My recommendation: spend a weekend in Evergreen before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

If you want authentic Vietnamese, head to the NE along International Avenue. Broken City is our go-to but there are honestly like 20 great spots within a few blocks.
