The Calgary International Film Festival is genuinely world-class. If you haven't checked it out, this year's lineup looks incredible.

The restaurant scene in Royal Oak keeps getting better. A new spot just opened up and the reviews are already fantastic. Calgary's food game is strong.

Welcome aboard! If you just moved to Calgary, definitely explore the different neighborhoods when you get a chance. Each one has its own personality. You'll find your spot!

Ha, my partner and I were just talking about this yesterday. We're in University Heights and yeah, totally relate.

If you're driving Deerfoot during rush hour, my pro tip: take Barlow or Macleod as alternatives. Slightly longer distance but way less stress. Deerfoot at 5pm is basically a parking lot.

For our family, bottlescrew Bills for date night is perfect. Great ambiance, amazing menu, and the cocktails are on point. Can't recommend it enough. Book ahead though, it fills up fast.
