Stoney Trail has been amazing for my commute from Rangeview to the south end. What used to take 45 minutes on Deerfoot is now 25 minutes. Worth the toll honestly. no cap

My recommendation: spend a weekend in Nolan Hill before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

Good luck!

For groceries, the best value in Calgary is honestly the ethnic supermarkets. T&T, Superstore International aisle, and the shops on International Avenue have way better prices on produce and spices.
