I'd recommend driving through New Brighton at different times of day before you commit. Traffic patterns and noise levels can vary a lot between morning and evening.

Hope that helps.

Honestly, condo owners in Calgary - just be careful with special assessments. Read the reserve fund study before buying. Learned that lesson the hard way. tbh

:)

Glenbow Museum is my go-to for a stress-relief walk. Something about being in nature in the middle of the city just resets everything.

Just bought in Point McKay and I'm blown away by how friendly the neighbors are. Within the first week, three different families came by to introduce themselves.

:)

So excited about this - Alberta Health Services wait times can be long but the quality of care in Calgary hospitals is actually really good. I've had great experiences at Foothills and South Health Campus. Can't wait!

Random but if anyone needs to check a used car, FullVIN.com saved my buddy from a bad purchase last month.

Stephen Avenue Walk is my go-to for a stress-relief walk. Something about being in nature in the middle of the city just resets everything.

Cheers!

The Calgary International Film Festival is genuinely world-class. If you haven't checked it out, this year's lineup looks incredible.

Stampede is just around the corner and I'm already excited. Say what you will about it, but there's nothing quite like Calgary in July. The whole city transforms.

For families with young kids, Evanston is hard to beat. Great playgrounds, safe streets, and the school is within walking distance for most residents.

The market right now is competitive but not insane like Toronto or Vancouver. You can still get a nice detached home under $600K in a good neighborhood if you're willing to look at Marlborough or Erlton.
