Post Edmonton prosecutor posthumously protects jailed victim's identity against family's wishes

CBC News revealed a 28-year-old Indigenous homeless woman was incarcerated while she testified as a sex assault victim at her attacker's preliminary hearing. She died seven months after testifying. When Lance Blanchard's trial began, the Crown requested a publication ban on the victim's name and refused to lift it.
