People with a criminal mindset (I'm referring to thieves) generally tend to avoid routes with the presence of a professional security guard. To force the thieves into a bait, some cops suggest installing an access control system and having a security office monitor it from elsewhere. Doesn't sound like a bad idea because there are access control systems officers who are trained to do the job fair and good. Keep those burglars at bay!
