Default Ottawa announces $11M in funding for suicide prevention among Inuit
Natan Obed, ITK's president, said during a press conference Thursday that the issue of suicide and suicidal ideation is an "ongoing challenge" in communities within Inuit Nunangat. The federal government is pouring $11 million into a national strategy aimed at preventing suicide among Inuit.
