IHT Rendezvous: The Dingo Took Her Baby

It sounded too improbable, too loony, that a dingo had dragged away her 9-week-old baby. But that was Lindy Chamberlain's defense about the death of her daughter Azaria in 1980. A cause of death was never established --- until Tuesday, when a coroner pronounced that Azaria had died "as a result of being attacked and taken by a dingo."
