No employee HUP for the Iphone 5 for 2-3 months.

Can somebody confirm if this is true. The guy at the rogers store said that nobody on an employee line can HUP to the iphone 5 for 3 months. Then at another store the guy said 2-3 weeks. Does anyone here possibly know the true amount of time until employee lines can HUP to the iphone 5?
