National Talk & Text - 6GB Share - Voice calling on second sim?

Has anyone tried making/receiving voice calls or sending texts on a second simcard added to a data share plan? A second simcard can be added for $10/mo, but it's data-only. Is it possible to pop the sim into a phone and make the occasional call at $.50/minute or something? Or is calling locked out...
