Post Parks Canada caribou captive breeding proposal gets OK from review panel
The proposed $25-million project would permanently pen up to 40 females and five males. The agency suggests the captive breeding could produce up to 20 calves a year — enough to bring Jasper's herds to sustainable levels in a decade.
