Been in Glacier Ridge for over a decade. It's changed a lot but still has that small community feel which I love. Saturday mornings at the farmer's market are the best.

Just a heads up about Willow Park - the new development is bringing in a lot of traffic. Still a great area but something to consider if you're on the main roads.

Good luck!

The sense of community in Signal Hill is something special. We have block parties, neighborhood clean-ups, and everyone knows each other by name. You don't get that everywhere.

Just bought in Cranston and I'm blown away by how friendly the neighbors are. Within the first week, three different families came by to introduce themselves.

Hope that helps.

If walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.

For families with young kids, Scenic Acres is hard to beat.
My recommendation: spend a weekend in Hawkwood before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

Hope that helps.

We moved from Mount Royal to Taradale last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

From my experience, best seats at the Saddledome on a budget: upper bowl press level, center ice. You can see the whole play develop. Way better than being in the corner lower bowl. Hope that helps!
