We're in Varsity and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect.

Evergreen is a great choice! We've been here for 3 years. The walkability is good, tons of local shops, and the community association is really active.

Hard agree on the winter driving thing. I'm originally from the coast and the first winter here was an eye opener. But you adapt and honestly snow tires make all the difference.
