If you're looking for value, the NE communities like Taradale and Martindale are actually really nice and way more affordable. Don't let the stereotypes fool you.

Thoughts?

For a chill night out, Kensington has great options. Grab dinner at one of the restaurants and then hit up a pub for drinks. Way more relaxed than the 17th Ave chaos.

Anyone in Calgary doing home automation? I've got a full smart home setup and the Calgary weather monitoring is really handy for automated blinds and heating. Hope that helps!

For anyone looking at new builds - visit the site at different times and weather. Some areas flood in spring, some have awful drainage. Ask the neighbors, they'll tell you everything the builder won't.
