My recommendation: spend a weekend in Ramsay before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

If walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.

Stoney Trail has been amazing for my commute from Coral Springs to the south end.
Blizzaks are hands down the best winter tires I've had in Calgary. They handle the ice and packed snow way better than my old all-seasons. The difference is night and day.

Hope that helps.

If you want authentic Vietnamese, head to the NE along International Avenue. Anju is our go-to but there are honestly like 20 great spots within a few blocks.
