Love seeing all the new independent businesses popping up in Inglewood and Kensington. Support local! These are the places that give Calgary its character.

Blizzaks are hands down the best winter tires I've had in Calgary. They handle the ice and packed snow way better than my old all-seasons. The difference is night and day.

Just moved to Rocky Ridge and can confirm this. The neighborhood is fantastic, especially the access to Elbow River pathway. Highly recommend for anyone considering it.
Good luck! |

My recommendation: spend a weekend in Brentwood before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

Calgary's brewery scene deserves way more recognition. Charbar is doing incredible things with their seasonal releases. The craft beer quality here rivals anywhere in Canada.

For what it's worth - if you're looking for value, the NE communities like Taradale and Martindale are actually really nice and way more affordable. Don't let the stereotypes fool you.

Watching the game at Trolley 5 tonight. Nothing beats Flames game night in Calgary. The whole city comes alive.

Best detailing place in Calgary is Blink in the NE. They do an incredible job and the prices are reasonable. My car looks showroom fresh every time.
