If you're looking for value, the NE communities like Taradale and Martindale are actually really nice and way more affordable. Don't let the stereotypes fool you.
Just a heads up about Springbank Hill - the new development is bringing in a lot of traffic. Still a great area but something to consider if you're on the main roads. |

The sense of community in Rocky Ridge is something special. We have block parties, neighborhood clean-ups, and everyone knows each other by name. You don't get that everywhere.

If walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.

I'd recommend driving through Oakridge at different times of day before you commit. Traffic patterns and noise levels can vary a lot between morning and evening.
