Anyone in Calgary doing home automation? I've got a full smart home setup and the Calgary weather monitoring is really handy for automated blinds and heating.

The Calgary Zoo in winter is actually beautiful. Less crowded, the animals are more active in the cold, and the Zoolights are magical.

Hot take: the Flames prospect pipeline is actually looking really strong right now. Give it 2-3 years and this team is going to be a serious contender.

Hope that helps.

From a family perspective, totally agree with this. I've been in Calgary for 10 years now and Willow Park is honestly one of the best kept secrets in the city. The community feel there is something else.

For anyone looking for a great meal that won't break the bank, check out the lunch specials at River Cafe. Same amazing food as dinner but at a fraction of the cost.

Hope that helps.

Flames fan here - shawnessy is a great choice! We've been here for 10 years. The walkability is good, tons of local shops, and the community association is really active.

Just bought in McKenzie Towne and I'm blown away by how friendly the neighbors are. Within the first week, three different families came by to introduce themselves.

Thoughts?

Ha, my partner and I were just talking about this yesterday. We're in Mount Royal and yeah, totally relate.

Good luck!
