If you're looking for value, the NE communities like Taradale and Martindale are actually really nice and way more affordable. Don't let the stereotypes fool you.

The Calgary International Film Festival is genuinely world-class. If you haven't checked it out, this year's lineup looks incredible.

Grocery bills have been insane lately. We've switched to a combination of Costco, No Frills, and the Asian supermarkets for better prices. Still spending more than a year ago though.

Solar panels on our roof in Bowness have been producing great. Calgary's sunshine hours make it one of the best cities in Canada for solar. Paid off the investment in about 7 years.
