Using a lte data plan on a iphone

I upgraded to a motorola razr on my wifes number, she did not have a data plan so had to add a plan but they added a lte data plan will it work on the iphone I know she won't get lte network but will the data work. I will be using my phone number on the razr with regular data plan thanx
