3G speeds EVO3D... Apn or radio?

Trying to troubleshoot my EVO3D speeds, and frequently getting 1mbps hspa speeds. Is Internet.com still the proper apn to use? I'm wondering if maybe the custom rom I'm using and it's associated radio might be affecting 3G data as well (coolics by coolexe)
