Default Different Culture in the World

Funeral culture is the most common and convenient culture in the world. There are different ways of funerals in different periods in the world. Tibetan celestial burials have given it beautiful interpretations of religious concepts, making people's prying into celestial burials endless. People have many associations and suspicions about the Tibet death rituals, and even call it barbaric behavior. There are various funeral methods in the advanced world. Most of them are cremation. Compared with cremation, celestial burial is more unique. First, it does not occupy land and second is clean.

For the sky burial, there is a complicated set of religious procedures. First of all, we need to perform the super-duty (powa method) before death to determine whether the divine consciousness has left, and fix the body with woolen thread, as if it were born, make a butter lamp, and ask a lama or a benbu mage to make a hexagram to find out the time of the funeral. , Recite the scriptures of warding off evil spirits and blessing peace, such as Zhuoma Nijiu (Twenty-one Tara Praise), Douge (big white umbrella cover) and other scriptures.

The characteristic of Tibetan funerals is that they don’t use musical instruments to mourn condolences, they don’t kneel or cry, they just bring something like bread, money, or hada. The main voice at the venue was the crowd of condolences chanting the big six-character mantra. The celestial burial platform, celestial burial master, complicated rituals and bursts of sangyan constitute a funeral method with plateau characteristics.

In primitive culture, burial was mostly used. Cremation was a criminal law (religious) to punish prisoners in the past. Cremation is more widespread in Buddhism, and it is mainly used when Shakyamuni passed away. Later, they were imitated by Buddhists. There are five types of funeral methods in Tibet: celestial burial, water burial, tower burial, tree burial, and earth burial.
