The new iPad?

Am I the only one who thinks the iPad shouldn't be called "the new iPad"? I mean, what were they thinking? Imagine the conversation: Hey man, I got the iPad 4. I just have the new iPad. Oh, so you got the iPad 4 too? No, I have the new iPad. And the conversation continues with confusion....
