Voice over LTE?

When connected to the Telus LTE network, is voice still transmitted over HSPA? (Put otherwise, if you're in a lousy Bell HSPA coverage area in the East, and you switch to a Telus LTE phone, are you likely to still have lousy voice coverage with your Telus LTE phone?)
