Grizzly bears 'thriving' in Alberta, science-based estimates show
 Alberta Environment and Parks estimates the total number of grizzlies in the province is between 856 and 973. In 2010, when grizzlies were listed as a threatened species in Alberta, the provincial population estimate was been 700 and 800 bears.More...
