Rare 'downburst' that wiped out swathes of N.W.T. forest last summer could be harbinger of future storms
A thunderstorm that created a downburst last summer near Sambaa K'e, N.W.T., caused visible tree damage in an area more than 60 kilometres long and up to nine kilometres wide. A scientist says we should expect more of these types of storms in the near future.
