Default Types of surfing

Surfing can be divided into classic and alternative concepts. Classic surfing refers to surfing on the ocean waves, where the rider is accelerating into the wave with only his hands and feet, and must pick up enough speed to get on the board.

Alternative surfing can be divided into several types:

Wakesurfing is suitable for those who like to ride the wave, but do not have the ocean or sea in their country, since the rider catches the wave from a special towing boat. You can ride holding on to the halyard or let it go and slide freely along the wave. If you don't have a towing boat at hand, you can use a special panel for wakesurfing, which is attached to almost any boat in a minute and forms the necessary wave.

Windsurfing from the English breeze. In this case, you can ride due to the force of the wind and the sail, which is attached to the board. The control takes place by means of the mast and the sail.

SUP surfing acts as a parallel line from classic surfing. The rider starts moving with the paddle while standing on the board. Catching waves on a SUP board is not as easy as it might seem from the outside. However, as an advantage over classic surfing, on a sapa you can ride on waves with much smaller amplitude and much longer.

Kitesurfing is truly an extreme and beautiful kind of surfing. In open water, the rider performs maneuvers and tricks using wind power by controlling a kite (kite) attached to the torso.

Tau surfing is an absolutely extreme way of riding giant waves by towing the rider onto a wave that cannot be caught by "hand" rowing onto it.
