Is New Brighton safe? Considering buying there

We're in Sunalta and honestly the only downside is the commute to downtown. But if you work from home or work in the south, it's absolutely perfect.

I looked at both Evanston and Dover before settling on Point McKay. The school district was the deciding factor for us. No regrets at all.

Been in South Calgary for over a decade.

As a parent, for families with young kids, Taradale is hard to beat. Great playgrounds, safe streets, and the school is within walking distance for most residents.

On a related note with the Flames, just bought in Tuscany and I'm blown away by how friendly the neighbors are. Within the first week, three different families came by to introduce themselves.

If walkability is your priority, you really can't beat the inner city neighborhoods like Kensington, Beltline, or Mission. Everything you need is within walking distance.
