Northern Ontario defeated Newfoundland and Labrador in the 1-2 page playoff on Friday, while Saskatchewan skip Steve Laycock led his team to 4-2 victory over B.C.'s Jim Cotter in the final round robin match at the Tim Hortons Brier.
