Post Alberta Justice cut Legal Aid services while bowing to funeral service industry fee demands
Former Alberta Justice minister Jonathan Denis dictated deep service cuts to Legal Aid at the same time his ministry was bowing to pressure from a funeral service industry association to reopen a contract and grant higher fees.
