Aaron Carter Compares Body-Shamers To High School Bullies In Twitter Rant
The last time we heard from your fourth grade crush Aaron Carter, he was making Hilary Duff's worst nightmare come true by trying to get her back via Twitter. Duff took a hard pass, but that didn't stop Carter from tweeting his unfiltered thoughts to his almost 500K followers.
Now, after receiving a barrage of hate tweets from users, who took time out of their day to say nasty things about the singer's appearance, Carter fought back against body-shamers in a series of tweets that read like his personal diary. "The way people talk about my weight is like high school times a million," he wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted. "Yes. I'm skinny right now. I've been very stressed and going thru some shit and felt like I needed to explain myself 'cause so many people are asking me and talking about me being too fucking skinny." Carter went on to reveal that the constant body shaming has taken an emotional and physical toll on his well-being. Yes. I'm aware ok. I go through shit and have been really stressed out and I have a stupid medical condition called a hiatal hernia... And EVERYONES been talking about it and I can't even post videos or take pictures without feeling self conscience and it fucking sucks It's kinda hard being me. But I'm good I promise. I love you guys and I appreciate your support i go through shit like everyone else I suffer from a SHIT ton of anxiety trying to handle with my fam personally the best way I can The incident was sparked by a particularly popular (now deleted) tweet, in which Carter compared himself to the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. "Remember one very important thing," he told his fans and followers. "Michael passed down the torch to me. I never had to ask for him to do that." Later that night, he posted a note on his account to clarify his comments. Enough with the negativity and hate people come on. Like enough you guys are wetting the torch not me. pic.twitter.com/hVHzRK6Oop You know what? Aaron Carter can do whatever he wants because "I Want Candy" is and always will be a JAM.
