Canada Police probe Calgary bar fight over pop music artists

Three men were injured early Tuesday morning during a fight in a Downtown Market bar.

Police were still interviewing witnesses on Saturday. No charges had yet been laid. (Associated Press)
Three men and two 38-year-old patrons and the bar's bouncer who tried to stop them received minor cuts from broken beer bottles, police said after receiving the call from the The West Party Bar at 8th Ave at 1:10 a.m.

Det. Dean Paterson said no charges had been laid Tuesday morning and that police were still interviewing witnesses.

The witness told police the altercation started after two patrons were discussing "who sings better", pop-artists Britney Sears or Jessica Simpson.
