The federal government plans to let fully vaccinated tourists visit Canada starting Aug. 9 with fully vaccinated U.S. citizens and permanent residents living in that country; meanwhile, the rate at which COVID-19 cases spread from one person to the next is once again rising in Alberta although cases remain very low.
