Urban deer make for interesting neighbours in northwestern Ontario cities and towns

Seeing a whitetail deer in a city or town used to be relatively rare in northwestern Ontario. But over the past year they have become common in Thunder Bay, Dryden and Kenora. Biologists say they come with a mix of problems but these habitats also help the wild populations through rough winters.
